Learn to make your website accessible with the [course_title] course.

The course teaches you when and why users need accessibility. Then the course focuses on the issues of making a page work correctly with screen readers and managing input focus. Next, the course teaches you about “semantics” and “semantic markup” for web pages and add ARIA markup to enable a range of assistive devices.

Lastly, you will learn styling techniques that help users with a partial vision to navigate your pages quickly.


This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
