Supply Chain Management refers to the management of the flow of goods and services. Throughout the [course_title] course, you will learn the proper ways of the movement and storage of raw materials, of work-in-process inventory, and of finished goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption.
The course covers the alternative SN structures, strategic alliances, the design of delivery systems and the role of third-party logistics providers. You will be introduced to a series of concepts, frameworks and analytic tools to understand the management of service operations.
In short, the course explains the organisational, strategic and operational aspects of managing Supply Networks (SNs) from domestic and international perspectives.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
