The [course_title] course is devoted to the parallel evolution of life and the environment. Chemical and physical processes in the atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere and the solid earth can influence the life process. In the same time, life can also influence chemical and physical processes on our planet. The course teaches you these interactions between biology and the earth system which is commonly known as Geobiology. The climate history when life appeared, solar system, biochemical tracers, etc. will be covered in the course.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
