Have you ever thought what would happen if there was no sun? The sun is a big ball of gas and plasma that lies at the heart of the solar system.

This [course_title] is specifically designed to familiarise you with some interesting facts about the sun. Explore the purposes of the sun, including its structure and examine the phenomenon of sunspots. Moreover, discover how the sun holds the solar system together, gives light, heat, and energy on Earth as well as generates space weather.


This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
