Are you interested in art? The [course_title] course focuses on the history and cultural connection of arts. Throughout the course, you will explore the nature of visual art forms and the cultural connection. A short history of art will be discussed in the course. The course teaches you to study the art through five-steps: Description, Analysis, Context, Meaning and Judgment. You will learn how art speaks, how art works, concepts of artistic media and architecture.

Finally, the course illustrates art in time and places, with a special focus on the western world.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
