The Museum of the History of Science houses an unrivaled collection of historic scientific instruments, occupies a special position both in the study of the history of science and in the development of western culture and collecting. In this course you will get inside of the museum.
This course focus on topic like Oxford Philosophical Society and Royal Society, Mercator, the man who mapped the planet, calendar and clocks in the French revolution, astrology, medicine and quackery in Elizabethan England etc.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
Certification
