The [course_title] is designed to explain the influential political theories of the Enlightenment, including classical and contemporary formulations as they are related to politics now. Additionally, understand the nature of democratic politics, and their relations to Enlightenment and Anti-Enlightenment political thought. Examine logical variations among different authors, and get noteworthy observation to the practical suggestions of their competing thoughts.
Understand various issues and debates about economic inequality, approving action and challenges raised through arising warning of global environmental collapse.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
