Antennas mostly used for sensing in arthropods and generally vary widely in form and required by any transmitter to couple its electrical connection to the electromagnetic range. This [course_title] will set you up with the fundamentals of Antenna, including Dipole Antennas, Monopole Antennas, and Loop Antennas. You will also familiarise with the Slot Antennas, Linear and Planar Arrays, Microstrip Antennas (MSA), MSA Arrays, Helical Antennas, Horn Antennas, Yagi-Uda & Log-Periodic Antennas, and Reflector Antennas.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
