Ajax is the method of exchanging data with a server, and updating parts of a web page – without reloading the entire page. It is used for creating fast and dynamic web pages.

The [course_title] teaches you about Ajax and guides you to develop a web app that will help people learn about a place where they want to move. The app will query the Google Streetview, Wikipedia and New York Times APIs. For developing the app, the course shows you how to make asynchronous requests with JavaScript (using jQuery’s AJAX functionality).

Instead of these, you will learn how to use data APIs so that you can take advantage of freely accessible data in your applications, such as photo results, news articles, etc.
