The [course_title] course explains the diagnostic studies of the Earth’s atmosphere. The implications for the theory of the structure and general circulation of the Earth’s atmosphere will be taught. The course teaches the validation and use of general circulation models as atmospheric analogues. You will learn the analysis techniques for analysing the general circulation of the earth’s atmosphere. Other concepts included are Water Vapor Budget, heat budget, Spectral Analysis, Energy Cycle, Forcing of Zonal Mean Circulations, and more.
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
