In this course you will gain a detailed insight into legal and policy frameworks of intellectual property and information rights. You will focus on the impact of internet, technology and the impact of other legal considerations and values. You will examine local control vs. national and international considerations, competition, and the protection of minors.
You will explore related and sometimes competing legal and policy frameworks for the development and dissemination of ideas and expression in the Information Age.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
