Air pollution can be defined as the presence of toxic chemicals or compounds (including those of biological origin) in the air, at levels that pose a health risk. The [course_title] covers the basics of environmental pollution, the major types of pollution (in the air, water, and soil), the impacts and issues it poses, and the strategies used to prevent and control pollution. This course will build awareness of the strategies used to control and manage pollution.


This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
