The [course_title] course teaches you some of the fundamental areas of the mother of all science, Physics. The course is divided into three sections:

  • Mechanical Vibrations and Waves
  • Electromagnetic Waves
  • Optics

In the first section, you will be introduced to Mechanical vibrations and waves, simple harmonic motion, superposition, forced vibrations and resonance, etc.

The nest part deals with the concepts of Electromagnetic Waves such as Wave solutions to Maxwell’s equations in vacuum, Sources of EM waves: radiation, antennas, and more.

Finally, the last part focuses on Optics or the study that analyses the behaviour and properties of light. Here, you will know about Wave solutions to Maxwell’s equation in dielectrics, Reflection and refraction, Multiple sources: interference, Diffraction, Gratings, and The Doppler effect.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
