This [course_title] starts off by looking at the basic understanding of optical fibers and optical fiber communication. You will equip yourself with the knowledge and relevant information of optical fiber waveguide at the fundamental level, including essentials of an optical fiber communication system as well as a better understanding of various components of an optical fiber telecommunication system. Additionally, you will explore the main advantages of fiber optic transmission throughout this course.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
