Master the developmental, psychological, familial and sociological aspects of children’s studies with the  Diploma in Children’s Studies course.

Do you know why children from birth to 18 represent a distinct sociological and cultural class? The course starts by answering the questions. Next, the course teaches the fundamental concepts related to familial and social relationships. You will explore the psychological development of children and their learning process.

The role of family, the models of involving parents in children’s literacy acquisition, will be discussed in the course. Finally, the factors affecting young people’s well-being, skills needed for becoming a social worker will be addressed.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
