The [course_title] course deals with the basic concepts of the physics of atmospheric radiation and remote sensing including the use of computer codes. Here, you will know about Equation of radiative transfer including modelling atmospheric transmission and emission and Scattering of radiation by molecules and particles. You will also learn about scattering sunlight, spectroscopy, Mie theory, and numerical solutions. The solution of inverse problems in remote sensing of atmospheric temperature and composition will also be focused in the course.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
