This course begins by introducing you to the and how they manage computer hardware and software resources. You will learn about structure of an OS and how the system works.
This course will benefit you in learning about an OS and its role in computer system, how the processes work, virtual memory and how it works in a computer system and describe from computer booting up to loading the operating system.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
