The [course_title] course teaches you the fundamental elements and concepts of networking and computer communication. Emphasize will be given on the networking fundamentals and protocols, the application layer, the transport layer, the network layer, and the link layer. Finally, the course shows you the protocols for transmitting multimedia content, such as voice and video, over the Internet and the concepts of cloud computing, security, reliability, and fault tolerance issues, network remote access and directory services.
The purpose of the course is to introduce you to the concepts that will be needed to develop a network application.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
