The concepts of reaction rate, stoichiometry and equilibrium to the analysis of chemical and biological reacting systems will be discussed in the [course_title] course. You will also learn derivation of rate expressions from reaction mechanisms and equilibrium or steady-state assumptions, the design of chemical and biochemical reactors via synthesis of chemical kinetics, transport  henomena, and mass and energy balances, chemical or biochemical pathways, enzymatic, pathway, and cell growth kinetics, and more.


This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
