What is health disparity? The rates of disease occurrence and disabilities varies among people. This difference in health status is referred as health disparity.

This course will let know how to understand, define, and measure health disparity. You will review what health disparities are, how they are defined, and overview common issues faced in measuring health disparities. You will also be introduced to a range of health disparity measures, estimating advantages and disadvantages of each.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
