Senior citizen usually have special needs as they go through physiological and psychological changes.
This course will introduce you to conceptual framework for planning, organizing and delivering services to the elderly. You will build the ability to define the major physical, mental changes and health problems that accompany aging. You will evaluate various models of service delivery, including their relevance to current political and social conditions and the demographics of aging, the role of financing and the evolving marketplace
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
