Do you know calculus is needed for almost every basic science including physics, statistics, engineering, economics, even medicine? Basically calculus is a method of reasoning through mathematical model.

This is the introductory course of calculus that will introduce you to Single-Variable Calculus. You will also learn about derivatives, calculation of derivatives of algebraic and trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithm functions. This course will also focus on mean value theorem, L’Hospital’s Rule, ant-derivatives, limits of infinity.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
