Geotechnical engineering is the study of examining, designing and construction of foundations, slopes, retaining structures, embankments, roadways, subways, and other systems that supported or made by soil or rock.
This [course_title] focuses on geotechnical engineering and demonstrates its two different sections, such as soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Throughout the course, you will learn about soil mechanics and foundation engineering, including what they specifically provide, and all the aspects of soil mechanics.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
