Economics is a part of social science that deals with social behaviour and guides the allocation of scarce resources to meet the unlimited needs and desires of the individual members of a given society. The Social Sciences and Economics course teaches some fundamental related to social science and economics.
The course is divided into two parts: one part deals with research topics while other teaches the methodological perspectives. The research topics include racial Discrimination, Public Health and Persuasion, Incentives, Voting Behavior and Political Economy, Educational Quality, Corruption, Jury or advocacy, etc. On the other hand, you will learn about Causal Inference, Internal and External Threats, Human Subjects, Sampling, Clustering and Standard Errors, Randomization, and Statistical Inference in the methodological part.
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
