We often need visual images to read and understand context or arts. This [course_title] is designed to introduce you to the idea of visual literacy as well as analyse and interpret photographs as social data.
You will also understand why visual literacy is crucial and how to communicate a message through images. In addition to that, you will discover how images are used as a powerful medium to communicate about diverse issues of society and draw the attention of the higher authority.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
