In the past fifty or so years, the growth of population has expanded and has turned into overpopulation that led to overuse of the environment and resources. The [course_title] is specifically designed to introduce you to the essential material on human fertility, population growth, the demographic transition and population policy. This course also includes topics such as the human and environmental dimensions of population pressure, demographic history, economic and cultural causes of demographic change, environmental carrying capacity and sustainability and more valuable topics which are worth exploring.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
