The [course_title] course examines the analysis and design at a molecular scale of materials used in contact with biological systems, for example in biotechnology and biomedical engineering. The course teaches you about molecular interactions between bio- and synthetic molecules and surfaces; design, synthesis, and processing approach for materials that control cell function. Other topics include in the course are the application of state-of-the-art materials science to solve problems in tissue engineering, drug delivery, vaccines, and cell-guiding surfaces.
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
