Molecular pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through the examination of molecules within organs, tissues or bodily fluids while the Cellular pathology studies and diagnoses diseases on the cellular level. The [course_title] course teaches the fundamentals of tissue and organ response to injury from a molecular and cellular point of view.
Topics explained in the course are the disease states that bridge infection, inflammation, immunity, and cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), chronic-active hepatitis, and hepatitis virus infections. Apart from these theoretical discussions, you will be assigned in teamwork to analyse the concepts critically and explains primary scientific papers.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
