The [course_title] course deals with the mobile technology and communication system and shows you to propose, design, and build mobile applications for cell phones. You will be given some real-world tasks including creating several small applications including context-aware mobile media capture and games. Other topics included in the course are the basics of J2ME and exploring mobile imaging and media creation, GPS location, user-centred design, usability testing, and prototyping.
Prerequisite: Knowledge about Java is recommended.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
