This [course_title] is designed for a person who has an understanding of project management concepts, who is responsible for creating and modifying project plans, and who needs a tool to manage these project plans. It will provide you with the necessary skills to plan and schedule a building or construction project. The course focuses on setting up a project in MS Project, updating and revising project schedules, assigning resources and dealing with constraints. You will be shown how to create time-scaled diagrams (bar charts), resolve activity clashes / problems and update and monitor activity completion. You will learn to, Set up a project program, Input tasks, durations and milestones, Identify activity relationships and links, plant and material resources, Update the program, Monitor and compare progress on the program, Print out programs and reports, and more. So, basically this course gives you a basic introduction to Microsoft Project 2007.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
