This Level 2 Certificate course has been designed to help you improve your knowledge of food handling. You will discover the legal requirements in order to prepare and serve food in the service industry. You will also find out about HACCP, multiple levels of hazards and their preventive measures, and much more including temperature control and handling basics.

Knowledge and understanding of the basic food hygiene and safety is a legal requirement so as not to contaminate food and be safe at work all the time.

The course provides learners with up-to-date food hygiene information using a range of written text, and video content to ensure learners thoroughly comprehend their food safety responsibilities.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
