Statistics is the branch of mathematics that deals with the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of masses of numerical data. The [course_title] course covers the fundamental concepts of statistics.
At first, you will learn about statistics and data with a special focus on descriptive statistics. Then, the course focuses on the elements of probability and random variables. The concepts of the sampling distribution, estimation with confidence intervals, hypothesis test, and linear regression will be discussed in the course. You will also learn to analyse the data and present the graphically using statistical knowledge.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
