The [course_title] course illustrates the technical aspects of the classical tradition in architecture and design.

You will learn about the fundamental concepts of drawings and numbers. You will understand the power of printed images vs the power of human-made images. Vitruvius and the Mystery of his Missing Images will also be explained in the course. Then you will be introduced to the Alberti’s Improbable Image-making Technologies.

In short, the course shows you a dialectical relationship between architectural theory and data-processing technologies.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
