If you are interested in issues related to energy subsidies then this course will introduce you to the design of successful reforms of energy subsidies. In this course you will get learn about subsidies with economic, social, and environmental implications of subsidies. You will also learn to review what works best in energy subsidy reform, in light of country experiences globally and illustrate successes and failures in particular country contexts by summarizing some case studies.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
