The [course_title] course focuses on the electromagnetic phenomena in modern applications. Electromagnetic phenomena include both electricity and magnetism as different manifestations of the same phenomenon. You will learn about wireless communications system, circuits, computer interconnects and peripherals, optical fibre links and components. Other topics included in the course are microwave communications and radar, antennas, sensors, micro-electromechanical systems, motors, and power generation and transmission. The course also teaches about quasistatic and dynamic solutions to Maxwell’s equations, waves, radiation, and diffraction, coupling to media and structures; guided and unguided waves; resonance; and forces, power, and energy.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
