The [course_title] course is devoted to the electromagnetic theory. Particular emphasis will be given to the basics and applications of Nuclear Science and Engineering. The fundamental areas include in the course are electrostatics, magnetostatics, Conformal Mapping and Green’s Theorem, Low-Frequency Maxwell’s Equations, and electromagnetic radiation. Apart from these, the course focuses on the application of transmission lines, waveguides, antennas, scattering, shielding, charged particle collisions, Bremsstrahlung radiation, and Cerenkov radiation.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
