Have you ever wondered about the existence of black hole?

Well In 1915 Albert Einstein published the general theory of relativity and gravitation which implies the presence of black hole. This theory also gives you astrophysical & cosmological ideas about evolution of the universe.

In this course you will be introduced to Einstein’s theory of relativity and gravitational waves. You will be exposed to tensor analysis, Einstein’s field equations and astronomical tests of Einstein’s theory.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
