The purpose of this course is to convey knowledge of the various physical processes associated with slurry handling and transport during dredging. In addition to that, this knowledge is needed for the design of dredging equipment and for planning efficient equipment operations. In this course, various processes are discussed and theories and simulation models that describe the processes are presented and compared.
