Quantum Physics deals with the quantum theory that the nature and behaviour of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level.
The [course_title] course focuses the basics of quantum theory by using both exact analytic techniques and various approximation methods. You will learn the essential model systems of contemporary physics, including two-dimensional electron systems, the fine structure of Hydrogen, lasers, and particle scattering.
Upon completion, you will be able to interpret and analyse a wide range of quantum mechanical systems.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
