The [course_title] course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of manufacturing and help you to master the manufacturing techniques.
The course focuses on the four basics parts of manufacturing: manufacturing processes, equipment/control, systems, and design for manufacturing. You will learn about the integration of engineering and management disciplines for determining manufacturing rate, cost, quality and flexibility. Apart from these, the course teaches you the process physics, equipment design and automation or control, quality, design for manufacturing. Finally, the course covers industrial management, and systems design and operation.
Upon completion, you will master various manufacturing disciplines and practices.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
Certification
