Learn about the atmosphere of Earth through the [course_title] course.

Atmospheric chemistry is the chemistry of Earth’s atmosphere where you will learn about the atmosphere of Earth and other planets. It is a branch of atmospheric science where you learn about the chemical composition of the natural atmosphere. You will learn the way gases, liquids, and solids in the atmosphere interact with each other and with the earth’s surface and associated biota. The science also explains how human activities changed the chemical and physical characteristics of the atmosphere. The [course_title] course explains all these things. Other areas discussed in the course are, kinetics, and thermodynamics, important to the chemistry of the atmosphere, stratospheric ozone depletion, oxidation chemistry of the troposphere;, photochemical smog, aerosol chemistry; and sources and sinks of greenhouse gases and other climate forcers.

In short, the course covers the effects of human activity on air quality and climate.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
