The [course_title] course teaches some of the essential areas of mechanics. At first, the course teaches the concepts of analytic mechanics such as Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics, systems with constraints, etc. You will learn about rigid body dynamics, Time Evolution with Rotating Coordinates, Kinetic Energy, Angular Momentum, and the Moment of Inertia Tensor for Rigid Bodies, etc. Other topics covered in the course are vibrations, central forces, Hamilton-Jacobi theory, action-angle variables, perturbation theory, and continuous systems. Finally, the course teaches the fundamentals of Fluid mechanics and Chaos and Non-linear Dynamics.
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word.
