What do you think health behavior change is? It simply is the change in people’s personal habits to prevent disease, thus reducing healthcare costs.

This course will introduce you to the conceptual tools to analyze health-related behaviors and the social, cultural and environmental context in which they occur. You will analyze concepts and theories of care-seeking, treatment of sick children, voluntary counseling and testing, sexual risk behaviors, intimate partner violence and other behavior change challenges.

Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
