Ensuring child’s proper physical and mental development is very important as it influence the adult they will become.
This course focuses on the core processes of growth and development in early to middle childhood. You will learn the developmental theories, issues and research findings related to physical growth and cognitive, emotional, and social development. You will evaluate efficacy of popular early intervention programs designed to enhance development in at-risk populations of children.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
Certification
