Astrophysics is the branch of astronomy or space science that applies the laws of physics and chemistry to explain the birth, life and death of stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae and other objects in the universe. It has two sibling sciences, astronomy and cosmology. This [course_title] course starts by explaining galaxy, dynamics, potential theory, and equilibria. You will learn the groups and clusters of galaxies; X-ray emission and dark matter, Formation of galaxies and large-scale structure, Cosmic microwave background, Newtonian cosmology, Roberston-Walker models, etc.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
