The [course_title] course teaches the phenomenological and experimental concepts of particle and nuclear physics. You will learn the fundamental forces particles and composites. The course illustrates Symmetries and Invariance Principles, Principle Elements of QFT, and Relativistic Kinematics, etc. Other topics covered in the course are QCD, gluon field and colour, Nucleon-nucleon interactions, properties of nuclei, single and collective particle models, Electron and hadron interactions with nuclei, Relativistic heavy ion collisions, and transition to quark-gluon plasma.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
