We are all familiar with the name Barack Obama. He is the first African American president of USA. Interesting fact about African American is that they are the largest ethnic group of USA.

In this course you will examine the African American history in the United States. The focus will be the end of the Civil War, the beginning of reconstruction, the development of the modern civil rights movement and the history of leaders of the civil rights movement.

Assessment

This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.

Certification
