Biochemistry refers to the branch of chemistry that deals with the chemical compounds and processes occurring in organisms. The course teaches you the tools and analytic methods used by the biochemists for analysing biological problems. You will learn how to analyse the mode of action, structure of regulatory, binding, and catalytic proteins. Other topics included in the course are Kinetic or the study of the rate at which reactions occur, Molecular Graphics, Chemical Kinetics Simulator, Review of Chemical Thermodynamics and Chemical Equilibrium, and Mystery Protein.
Assessment
This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
