This course also Reviews the earlier mindset before 1700 when into science fitted elements that came eventually to be seen as magical. Learn how western cosmologies became disenchanted and how magical tradition transformed into modern art, including an essential discussion concerning science in totalitarian settings and a big science during the Cold War.
Assessment
